Caitlin grinned when Carson came out of his quarters. She returned his kiss and turned to see Rodney coming out of his own quarters. She didn't make a move to step away from Carson. Rodney knew how much time they spent together and he was a smart guy - he was bound to figure out that Carson and her were together now. At least she thought they were together. They hadn't had the chance to discuss it yet.
"Well, I have a busy day ahead of me. I can't imagine medical or bio-systems has a lot to do since our main problem is with power and not bandaids," Rodney muttered before he started to walk toward the Gate room.
Caitlin looked at Carson and raised her eyebrows before looking at Rodney again. Shaking her head, she hurried to catch up with him. "Grumpy today, Rodney?" she asked as she gave him a smile.
"Nope. Not grumpy," he said before he eyed her and Carson. "You two seem pretty...close this morning. What did you do after I left last night?"
Caitlin shrugged. "Just hung out and talked," she said. She wasn't about to tell Rodney about her sex life with Carson.
"Hm," was all Rodney had to say.
Soon all three of them were heading to the dining hall and when they got there, they grabbed some food and sat down at a table together. They had gotten into the habit of having breakfast together every morning. As they ate, Caitlin looked around the room and noticed John and Teyla were sitting together.
"Bet you ten bucks those two end up together," she said as she nodded toward them.
Rodney glanced over his shoulder and snort. "Major Sheppard isn't the type of guy to settle down with one woman. He'll probably end up screwing every thing in the Pegasus galaxy. I've met a lot of guys like him and I know how they work," he said before he started on his eggs.
