Giotto switched his tack to come up almost under her. Making sure his own grip was secure, he reached up to catch the bottom of her foot, making a foothold of his hand to give her some support. She wasn't very heavy, but it would be difficult to hold her in this position for long.
"It's okay. I've got you," he said in the same extra calm voice he used with panicking trainees. "Now, keep a grip on that handhold. ...good...
