"Ahh, we'll maybe I'll find some way to give then." Although she wouldn't be giving in a cooking sense. She was willing (and glad!) to lend a minor hand here, but she wouldn't be doing any heavy duty cooking, to give away for Lent. She wasn't setting out to punish others after all. "I like that philosophy, I'll have to mention it to one of my brothers back home." She and her brother closest in age always tried to support each other over Lent.
Following the instructions, she put the flour on the roller and worked on making sure she wasn't squeezing the edges too tight.
