John nodded at Fred and Daniel. It would be better to treat them with respect; after all, even with the Sangui and the Athosians, they needed more allies, and given what had happened with the human-form replicators in the Milky Way, it would definitely be better to have these replicators on their side, all things considered. Plus, the more help Daniel got, the better, what with all these things they kept finding out about their destinies and futures.
And even though he could tell that Sam was a bit hesitant - which wasn't really a surprise to John, all things considered - she obviously realized the same thing. He just hoped this went well, especially as he wasn't sure he'd be able to help them in their goal.
"All right. We'll be back in few minutes, hon," John said, nodding to Fred. He leaned over and gave her a brief kiss before he and Daniel headed back to the outpost. When they entered the conference room, Asuran looked up at them hopefully. "Colonel Carter has agreed to letting you accompany us back to Atlantis."
"Good! Good," Asuran said, obviously pleased by this.
Once they had said goodbye to Noll, they headed back to the Gate where Fred was waiting. After dialing, they headed back through to find Sam, Carson, Caitlin, Rodney and Bates' team waiting for them on the other end.
"Asuran, this is Colonel Carter, the leader of the Atlantis expedition colony," John said. "Colonel Carter, this is Asuran."
"Nice to meet you," Sam greeted Asuran, but his focus was on Rodney, Caitlin and Carson.
"These must be the Second-in-Commands and the Protector," he remarked. "It is an honor to meet you."
