Sometimes, Caitlin wished her had an assistant to do reports for her. Since she had been helping Carson with the retro-virus, she was sorely behind in her own department. She was grateful for Tim, though, since he stepped up and took over while she was busy elsewhere. But, since Tim wasn't a department head, he couldn't really accept any projects since that was Caitlin's job. So, with all the reports she had to write and read, she had a pile of projects to go over.
It was then that she decided to talk to Sam about making Tim a co-head of the Bio-systems department. He was the best worker she had and she could really use the help.
With a sigh, she pulled off her glasses and rubbed her eyes. She'd been staring at computer screens so much over the last few days that she started to get headaches. With some nudging from Carson, Caitlin finally decided to start wearing her glasses again, even if she didn't like them.
When her husband called her down to medical, Caitlin shut down her computer and put her glasses back on before leaving. As she walked into the medical lab, she raised her eyebrows at how happy Carson seemed. She then pushed her glasses up and looked into the microscope. Caitlin couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"Amazing," she said. "It hasn't reverted back to it's Wraith state." She looked up and rolled her eyes when her glasses slipped back down. She took them off and set them aside. "So the pregnancy hormone mixed with the retro-virus makes it more potent. This is great, Carson!"
Caitlin threw her arms around him and hugged him tight. "You're so brilliant," she whispered before she softly kissed his cheek. She pulled back and furrowed her brow. "I wonder if a Wraith would react differently now that the retro-virus has changed? There's a good chance everything will be different than it was with Paul."
