Sam sighed and looked down at the Gate room before moving toward the meeting room that sat just off Operations. She had wanted to greet Caitlin at the Gate, especially after being told by General Landry that Jack was having a few issues with his daughter coming back to Atlantis. Sam had told Landry to tell O'Neill she would keep an eye out for Caitlin, even though the younger woman didn't really need a babysitter.
"Hello, Sam," Teyla said as Daniel and her walked into the room. Daniel pulled out a chair and Teyla sat down in it before thanking him. "There was something I wish to discuss with you."
"Oh? And what's that?" Sam asked as she sat down at the table.
"Fred and I were speaking the other day and she made mention of perhaps having some sort of child care in the city. The both of us thought we could convert one of the empty quarters in the family section for that purpose," Teyla started to explain. "There are two women in my people's village who are quite interested in the job. Both are very highly qualified with taking care of children since both have helped with the children in the village. I could bring them tomorrow if you would like to meet with them."
Sam gave Teyla a thoughtful look and then nodded. "I think we can work something out. We'll need something more permanent to help with the children," she said. "Bring them by tomorrow and I'll meet with them."
"Thank you, Sam," Teyla said with a grateful nod.
Soon, Rodney and Laura walked in and sat down. They idly chatted for a bit before Rodney furrowed his brow. "Where's the rest of them?" he asked.
"Carson took Caitlin to get her shots and Jennifer and Ronon had an issue with Finn and went to their quarters for something," Daniel said. "And no one has seen John and Fred all morning."
"And I'm right here," Jeannie said as Tim and her hurried in.
"We'll give the others some more time to show," Sam said.
