Fred looked at Jeannie and sighed. She looked over at Sam and nodded before she looked at Tim and Jeannie again. "I understand, Jeannie, I really do. After my parents died, I didn't want anything to do with science but then I was asked to be part of a project again. Because of me saying yes, I've gotten to do all these wonderful things and help others," Fred said. "There are group of people in trouble and your theory could help them have better lives."
Jeannie just looked at Fred and shook her head. "How can a bridge between universes help someone? You would have to be far away in space for it to work," she pointed out.
Fred cleared her throat and looked away for a moment. She wanted to tell the both of them about what the SGC and Stargate Program was but knew she couldn't without Sam's and General Landry's permissions.
"Fred? What aren't you telling us?" Tim asked when he saw the look on Fred's face.
She turned and looked at him for moment before Sam came back over to them. She nodded and Fred reached out to take Tim's hand, while Sam took Jeannie's. Before either could react, they were beamed out of the apartment and onto the Apollo.
"What in the...?" Jeannie said as she looked around.
"Where are we?" Tim asked.
"Welcome to the battle cruiser Apollo," Fred said as the both of them gave her a confused look. "There's a lot for us to talk about."
"We opened up a meeting room for you to use," Colonel Ellis said.
Suddenly, Jeannie jumped and pointed a shakey hand behind them. "Is that..?" she asked as she pointed at Thor.
"Yes," Fred said with a grin. "His name is Thor. He's really sweet."
