Fred could feel everything John was and knew he was upset by what Elizabeth was saying. She knew a different version of her was in the other universe and she knew the other Fred had to be scared to death with having something inside of her. She wished she could do something to make John stop worrying so much but she didn't know what. So she stood back and listened to the others speak.
When she caught John's thought before he pushed it down, Fred furrowed her brow. Go back to the other universe to save the other Fred? If she remembered right, the rift was gone and there really was no way for them to get back to the other universe. If they was a way they could end someone else's suffering, Fred didn't mind. Too bad they didn't have some sort of bridge.
Suddenly, a thought came to her mind.
"Can I speak to you outside, Sam?" Fred asked.
"Sure."
The both of them walked out of the room and Fred looked at Sam. "John thought of something. There's a chance we could go back to the another universe and help the other Fred," she said.
"How is that possible? The rift is closed and there's no other way to get there," Sam pointed out.
Fred smiled and shook her head. "I have a friend in DC. His wife is this brilliant with physics. When John and I went back to Earth when his father was sick, I spoke to my friend and he said she had came up with this way to bridge universes. She hasn't given it to anyone to proof but he said the math worked out. If we could get her to help us, we could go back to the other universe," she said.
Sam gave Fred a thoughtful look. "Would she willing to help?" she asked.
"She might. Someone would have to go speak with them," Fred said.
"All right. Let me speak with General Landry about it and we're go talk to them," Sam said before she started to walk off.
"We?" Fred asked.
"Your friend, Fred, not mine," Sam said over her shoulder.
