Fred tried her best to hang on to the tablet and gave Rodney a dirty look when he ripped it out of her hands. She sat back on the couch a little and nodded. "Rodney's right - it won't work with the Goa'uld," she said. "It's more like with parasites that take complete control, and the person they're in doesn't even exist anymore. It's almost like a possession."
"Kind of like the other Weir and Fred we saw?" Carson said as he shuddered a little.
"Exactly!" Rodney said while he continued to look down at his tablet. "There's one problem, though - it's all theoretical until we can actually use it. And I'm sure no one here will want to be possessed with an alien parasite."
Sam nodded. "Well, write up a report about your findings and we'll keep it in mind in case we ever come across someone that has an alien parasite inside of them," she said before pushing herself off the desk. "If there's nothing else, I'm heading down to get something to eat."
"Food sounds good," Fred said as she stood. Rodney stood in front of her and held out the tablet. "What?"
"I figured you'd do the report."
"Why? You said it was yours."
Rodney sighed. "I don't have time. I do have a pregnant finance," he pointed out.
Fred stared at him for a moment and then looked down at her pregnant stomach. She then looked at him again. "And I'm pregnant. Do you own report," she said before she reached down and took John's hand, and tugged him out of Sam's office. Rodney really knew how to irritate her and she was beginning to wonder how Laura put up with him.
