Fred sat back and listened to Daniel speak. All of what he was saying didn't seem like anything new to her. After all, John and her were the guardians of the galaxy so it would make some sense that their kids had something to do with it, too. "That's pretty cool, Daniel," she said as she noticed Rodney had set his tablet down on the coffee table. She leaned over to see what he'd been working on.
"My people have always believed the city will rise to its former glory one day," Teyla said. "Perhaps this is what they were speaking of."
Carson leaned forward and clasped his hands in front of him. "In order to return the city to its former glory, it would make sense if all the children born to us would have the Ancient gene," he said while furrowing his brow. He then glanced over at Ronon. "Would you mind if I took some blood from Finn to see if he has the gene?"
"Sure," Ronon said.
"After the kids return the city, what's going to happen to us? Are we just going to turn into a pile of dust because I want some sort of payment for working my ass off here," Rodney said with a huff.
While Rodney was complaining, Fred leaned over and picked up his tablet. She looked over his calculations for a moment before fixing one of them. Once it was fixed, her eyes widened. "It takes alien parasites out of their hosts!" she said.
"Hey! That's mine!" Rodney said as he tried to get it back from her.
"Your calculations were wrong so it's mine now," Fred said as she snuggled closer to John, hoping he'd protect her.
"What in the world are you two talking about?" Sam asked.
