Fred stood from the table and followed her family out to the Gate room. As John went up to give Chuck the address, she turned and looked at her kids. "I love you. All of you," she said before she hugged each of them. When she was finished, she looked at them. "And please behave, No wonder your dad has grey hairs."
All of them giggled and once the Gate had been activated, Fred hugged them again before they walked through the Gate and disappeared. Unlike last time, Fred didn't feel any feelings of hopelessness. Instead, she felt extremely proud of their children and turned to smile at her husband. She was about to suggest they go have lunch when Daniel came rushing down the stairs.
"I need to speak to everyone," he said.
Fred sighed a little. "Okay," she said.
All of them walked up to Sam's office and sat down. Fred crossed her arms and sighed again. She hoped whatever Daniel had to say, it wasn't boring because she rather be in the dining hall, eating red jello with bananas in it. Just the thought of it made her stomach growl a little.
"Looks like we're all here. What's up, Daniel?" Sam asked as she leaned against her desk.
"Well, there was writing on the wall in the relic room so I translated it and it led me to another room where I found this...prophecy and I thought everyone would like to know what it says," he explained to them.
"You took me away from my research for a prophecy?" Rodney asked with a long sigh. He then pulled out his tablet and started to work on it.
