John found himself furrowing his brow in mirror of his wife - both because of what he felt from her and because of his own confusion. They had been working with Teyla with meditation as well as fighting technique. Were they going to need to fight someone using what she taught them? Or were they referring to something else? He wished that they were able to tell them, but he imagined they had taken a huge risk just coming back to tell them what they had.
Of course when Alex mentioned Chase knowing things, he looked at Fred, realizing she was right when she mentioned that he had been conceived when their connection had been strengthened in the room on Alex's birthday. You're right, he told her. Suddenly, he remember Fred knowing that his father had been sick before Sam had come to tell them. Was that because of Chase, he wondered? It made sense.
He was about to ask Fred what she thought when Meredith piped up again. Raising his eyebrow, he looked over at her. "Can't divide and conquer, huh?" he asked with a laugh before shaking his head. "Why do I have a feeling your mom and I spend a lot of time keeping you out of places you shouldn't be getting into?"
Pushing her blond hair out of her face, Meredith looked at him with her big blue eyes. "Uncle Tim says Aunt Kat gets into places she shouldn't all the time, and she never gets in trouble."
Alex's eyes opened wide. "Mere! You weren't supposed to mention them!"
"But I didn't tell about--."
Chase reached over and clapped his hand over his sister's mouth.
John looked over at Fred. Sounds like our extended family is going to get bigger.
