Once Fred and Carter were in the Gate room, Chuck dialed the Gate and soon they were walking through it. They ended up on a small planet, where Carter led Fred to a large warehouse. The two of them went inside and walked down a long foyer until they came to another room. Inside sat a small gray alien. Fred looked at it and then looked at Carter.
"Hello, Thor," Carter said with a warm smile. "It's good to see you again."
"As it is good to see you, too, Samantha," the alien said. He slowly blinked his eyes and looked at Fred.
"This is Doctor Winifred Sheppard," Carter said. "Fred, this is Thor. He's an old friend of SGC."
"Hi, Thor," Fred said.
After greeting Fred, Thor had the two of them sit down. "I was told by Jack you were living on Atlantis. While we were doing some sweeps in the Pegagus Galaxy, we found the most unusual thing," he explained. A screen behind him light up, showing the part of the galaxy that Atlantis was in. He turned slightly to point at it. "This planet, Planet M-9406, has several ancient satellites above it that are transmitting information to and from Atlantis."
Fred furrowed her brow. "That's one of the planets we haven't gotten the chance to explore yet," she said as she looked from Thor to Carter. "It's on the list, though."
"Do you know what they're transmitting?" Carter asked.
"We have yet to determine that," Thor said. "But we found something troubling on one of the countries. It seems the medieval civilization there is rather advanced. They use bicycles and hot air balloons. Plus, we have found evidence of a bomb making facility."
Carter frowned. "Do you think someone on Atlantis is giving them information on how to build a bomb?" she asked Thor.
"We are not certain."
Nodding, Carter stood from her chair and looked from Thor to Fred. "I think we need to find out what's going on. Thor? Would you like to come back to Atlantis with us?" she asked.
"I would love to."
The three of them left the warehouse and made their way back to the planet's Gate. Fred dialed the address and smiled down at Thor. She had questions she wanted to ask but didn't want to be rude. Instead, she wanted for the Gate to activate and then walked through. Once they were on the other side, Carter hit her earpiece.
"I want all senior staff to report to the conference room for a meeting," she said before closing the link.
The three of them walked up to the meeting room and Thor seemed rather enthralled by the city, and didn't seem to mind some people were staring at him. "General Landry says you are one of the best scientist SGC has," he commented to Fred.
She blushed and shrugged her shoulders. "Don't tell Rodney that," she said with a small laugh as the three of them sat down in the meeting room and waited for the others.
