"Again! Again!" Callie squealed with delight as she clambered up Ronon this time. With a grin, he hefted his adopted daughter up in his arms and sent her sailing into the air. Callie let out a high-pitched yell of happiness just before she splashed into the water. A moment later, her head popped up above water. "Your turn, John!"
John chuckled as Callie made her way over to him. "How long has it been since you went swimming?" he asked as he picked her up.
"A long time," she said. "I was a lot smaller. Before I knew things."
Nodding, he sent her flying into the air toward the water again before looking over at his wife and giving her a smile. He was glad that Carter had agreed to this. Everyone seemed to be enjoying this - even if Fred had been unsure at first. She looked gorgeous, though, sitting with her feet in the water.
"Rodney, watch where you're going!" Callie said.
John looked over just in time to see Rodney blink in surprise. He had been kicking around on an inflatable raft - obviously watching a certain someone on the dock - and had almost run in Callie. "Yeah, Meredith - don't run into the kid!"
"Don't call me that!" Rodney said, splashing some water at him.
John snorted in amusement, seeing Rodney look back over at Laura. As Callie went over to Ronon again, John swam over next to his friend. "Why don't you just ask Laura on a date," he asked him.
"Ask Cadman out? Are you insane? Besides, Katie..."
"Knows you like Laura. Come on, everyone knows you like her. Well, except maybe Laura, but if you keep staring at her that way, I think she might get a clue."
"Where are Carson and Carter?"
"Making out under the dock, and don't change the subject."
Rodney rolled his eyes, so John flipped the raft and dumped him into the water.
