Fred furrowed her brow and looked at the relic Alex was holding. She looked at her daughter and nodded as she said the relics had to go into something else. It made sense to her since the bottom of the relics opened and looked like they attached to something. When Alex pulled out the drawing, Fred leaned over and looked at it. She had never seen the item in question.
"May I see that?" Teyla asked. Alex nodded and handed the piece of paper over to the woman. Teyla looked it over for a moment and nodded. "I have been to this room. I could show you where it is."
"Do you have the other relics, Fred?" Carter asked.
"They're in the lab. I'll go get them," Fred said as she stood. When Alex looked up at her, Fred smiled. "I'll meet you down by the Gate. Stay with your dad, okay?" Leaning down, she softly kissed Alex on top of the head and hurried out of the conference room.
Moments later, all of them were standing by the Gate. Teyla nodded at all of them and led them through the city and to the room where the module was. When they got to the room, Fred unpacked the other relics as Alex led her over to the module. Carefully, the both of them set the relics inside of the module. It was a little strange for Fred to be working with the daughter she was currently carrying.
"That should be it," she said as she stepped back.
Rodney pulled out his scanner and looked down at it. "It's pretty powerful and they're charging," he said before looking at the others.
Just then, the door of the room slid open.
"Alex! You know you aren't supposed to use me in your experiments!" a little girl said as she stomped inside. "I'm telling!" She then looked at John and Fred.
Alex sighed. "I told you what I was doing, Mere. Besides, those really aren't our parents. Well, they are but they aren't," she said with a confused look.
"So?" the little girl said before she flung her arms around John and started to climb on him. "Daddy! Tell her to stop! I could've been hurt!" She sniffled a little. "Know what would make me feel better? A really fast ride in the puddle jumper!"
"Alex?" Fred asked as she looked at her daughter.
"This is Meredith. Your other daughter. I made it so she would show up if the future was changed," Alex explained before she held her hands up. "I didn't hurt her at all. Oh, and she's grounded from the puddle jumpers because she tried to steal one."
