Fred's mind was whirling with how this could be happening. Their daughter, the one she had yet to give birth to, was currently hugging John. She reached over and softly rubbed Alex's back. "Who's going to kill us, sweetie?" she asked.
Alex looked like she was about to answer but stopped when Callie came walking up. "Callie? You're...shorter than I am," she said.
"I know. It's because I'm younger than you at the moment," Callie said with a smile. "I'm glad you made it. Did you put the failsafe in the bay?" Alex nodded. "Good. I should probably go there and meet her when she shows up."
After Callie had ran off, Carter turned and looked at the rest of them. "How about we move this upstairs to the conference room," she suggested.
Alex took her parents' hands and walked between as they made their way to the conference room. "I wanted to come sooner," she said. "Before Mark came but I could get the crystals to respond the right way. My math was wrong and the generator wasn't charging them right. It was a simple mathematical error."
"It's...you used the crystals to time travel?" Fred asked with a surprised look. "Is that even possible?"
"Oh, it is!" Alex said as her face lit up. "It's a simple mathematical equation." She then wrinkled her nose and blushed a little. "I was in such a hurry to get here, I forgot to carry the one."
"Amazing," Fred said as she glanced over at John and smiled. Their daughter was a genius.
When they got to the conference room, all of them sat down. Alex planted herself between her parents and nodded when Carter asked her to start from the beginning. "It started when all of you came back from getting the crystals. I think when the Gate was dialed, one of the crystals activated and caused a rip in time. Two parallel universes were made. This one and another. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem but mom and Rodney accidently opens it up and releases the other universe." She shifted a little before continuing. "Doctor Weir, along with an alien race, has taken over the other universe and they come to this one. She calls the Wraith and they come to destroy Atlantis. Weir takes Callie, Jennifer and me away and all of you get separated. The Wraith destroy Atlantis and Jennifer, Callie and me escape. It took me a few years but I figured out if you move the city, it'll be safe."
"We don't have the power to fly the city," Rodney pointed out.
Alex shifted in her chair and pulled out a small relic. It glowed and opened as she held it out for all of them to see. "With this you will. It's the fifth relic and all of them together will give you the power to fly the city and use hyperspace," she said.
