Fred was about to kill Rodney. The two of them spent the dat trying to figure out what was going on and where the message had came from. Nothing seemed to work and by the time it was four, she felt like pulling her hair out and beating Rodney senseless. When it was time to go down to the Gate, Fred made sure her gun was in her thigh holster and followed them down. As the Gate activated, she pulled out her gun and furrowed her brow when Operations said the id was John's.
She turned toward the Gate and lowered her gun a little when she saw the little girl walk through. The girl automatically raised her own gun and pointed it at all of them. There was something familiar about her, especially her eyes. When the girl's eyes fell on Fred, the two of them stared at each other before the girl placed her gun on the floor and kicked it over to where John was standing. She then put her hands in the air.
"I see you got my message. I wasn't sure if it would go through or not," the girl said. She then shifted a little. "Could you lower your guns? It's scary."
"Tell us who you are and we might," Rodney said.
The little girl started to chew on her bottom lip and shifted from foot-to-foot. "I'm Alex. Alex Sheppard," she quietly said.
Fred's eyes widened and she looked at John before she looked at the little girl again. "What?" she quietly said.
Alex looked at Fred as tears came to her eyes. "Please believe me. I-I'll take a DNA test. But you have to believe me or all of you are going to die," she cried.
At that moment, Fred knew this was an older version of Alex. She lowered her gun and slipped it back into her hoister before she looked at Alex again. "Come here, sweetie," she said as she held out her arms. Alex hurried over to her and hugged her tightly. "No one is going to hurt you. Promise. Now, why don't you tell us what's going on and how you got here."
