Caitlin chewed on her bottom lip as Sam explained the IOA didn't know about her new condition. She understood while Sam did it, and she was glad they didn't know yet. Caitlin knew all of them needed the time to get used to all of this before Woosley started his crap.
"I agree - screw Woosley and the IOA. I kind of hate all of them, especially after they tried to deny my dad coming through for his and mom's honeymoon because they thought he was a Replicator," she said, rolling her eyes. She then smiled a little and let out a small laugh. "I'm sure we can figure out someway to have Carson's mom get here. After all, we have a lot of bright people working in the city."
When Sam asked if she wanted to be there for the check-in, Caitlin nodded and followed her back to Operations. Once they were settled in her office, Chuck dialed the Gate and soon a connection had been made with the SGC.
"Colonel Carter. Doctor McKay-Beckett. It's good to see the both of you," Landry said.
"Likewise, Hank," Caitlin said. "There's something I need to discuss with you and--." Before she could finish, Hank was putting up his hand to stop her.
"Before we start, there's something I need to tell you. There was a freak ice storm two days ago and several IOA members, Woosley included, were in a car accident," Landry said before he frowned. "None of them survived."
