Evan snorted and shook his head at Andrew's antics. "I think you can stop hitting on my wife, buddy," he said as he handed Todd a spoon. He then beamed when they talked about Kyri and him expecting. Evan really couldn't wait until their child was born.
"Are you having a boy or girl?" Todd asked as Evan pulled out a chair for Kyri.
"We don't know yet," Evan told him before he sat next to his wife.
"Any preference?" Marie asked as she filled Kyri's bowl with some chocolate ice cream.
"I was thinking a girl might be nice but I would have to keep her away from boys like Andrew," he said with a laugh.
Marie swatted at him and shook her head. "Don't even try that, mister! You were the same way when you were Andrew's age," she said.
Anna laughed and sat down across from Kyri. "Your husband had all the neighborhood ladies wrapped around his finger. He would come home with his pocket full of candy from them," she said.
"Shut up," Evan muttered as he blushed. "I was just being nice to them."
"Don't tease him, Anna," Marie said. She finished serving the ice cream and sat down. "The two of you have to let me take you shopping after we finish with the park. I have a few things I want to buy for my new grandbaby."
