Sam found herself smiling as she watched Max answer Finn's question. It was obvious that the little boy adored her just as much as his father did and just as much as his older sisters did. It made her want to hug Molly, who she then realized still hadn't come back. She had just gotten up from the blanket and adjusted the hat she was wearing to ward off the sun when she spotted Kade in the distance.
Hurrying over to them, she stopped and looked down at her daughter. "Molly..."
"I know. We're not supposed to wander off," she said. "It's just...I wanted to show Aden the flowers that you showed me. The ones that were planted for your and Dad's wedding."
Sam sighed and reached out to tug Molly into a hug. "We just don't want you getting hurt. Not with the sightings of the Genii in the nearby solar systems."
"I'm sorry."
"I know, but I think you're going to need to sit out the rest of the picnic with me and your Dad," she told her.
Molly nodded before looking over at Aden. "Sorry."
"It's okay," he told her with a shy smile before looking up at his dad. "Am I in trouble?"
"We'll talk about that later," Kade said as they walked back to everyone else. Ronon had gone down to the water to join his family while John was rocking Meredith, who had started fussing.
Molly ran over to hug Daniel. "I'm sorry, Dad. I didn't mean to worry you and Mom."
