When Finn covered his face with his hands, Ronon frowned, wondering why his son felt that his wish was stupid. He looked over at Max before rubbing his hand over his back.
"Why do you think it's stupid?" he asked.
"It just is," Finn muttered.
Ronon shook his head. "Why don't you whisper it to me. I'll tell if it's stupid or not." When Finn looked up at him with an uncertain expression on his face, he gave him a smile. "I'm your dad. You can trust me."
Nodding, Finn leaned up and whispered in his ear. Ronon blinked a few times before looking over at Max again and then back at his son.
"It's not stupid," he finally told him. "But you're going to have to ask her."
"What if she thinks it's stupid?" Finn asked.
"She won't."
He looked up at his father for a moment before nodding. Taking a deep breath, he looked over at Max. "I...I want Max to be my mommy."
