Daniel was glad Sam liked the ring. He had ordered it a few weeks ago, and figured he could give it to her when they were alone, which is why he planned the romantic dinner. With a grin, he watched as she put it on, glad it fit her. "You're welcome," he whispered before returning her deep kiss.
When Daniel heard the stove beep, he pulled back. "Hold that thought for later. Lets get some food in you first," he said before giving her another quick kiss.
He stood from the table and hurried into the kitchen. Daniel took out the chicken dish the dining hall had made him, glad he hadn't burnt it while re-heating it. It made up two plates, and brought them back out to the table. Daniel sat one in front of Sam before setting the other where he was going to sit.
"I didn't make this, by the way," he said with a grin. "I just heated it up but it looks good."
