Max gave Ronon a sheepish look when he said he wasn't going to kick her out. She didn't want to assume anything, but also knew she was being a bit silly. Giving him a grin, Max nodded. "I know you won't let anything happen to me," she said as he finished with the bandages. She then took the Tylenol and snuggled down in the bed. A brief thought of getting dressed in case one of the kids wandered in passed through her mind, but she was just too tired to care.
The next thing she knew, Max was walking up to the sound of a little kid calling for his father. Opening her eyes, she turned over and froze when she saw Finn standing there, grinning from ear-to-ear. Soon, he was joined by Callie and Lis. "See?" Finn said as he pointed toward the bed. "You said they were going to fall in love and be like Alex's mommy and daddy!"
Max had no idea what was going on, and glanced at Ronon. She then looked at the kids and gave them a nervous smile.
"We should let them get dressed, Finn. Then we can talk to them," Lis said as she took her little brother's hand.
After all of them had left the doorway, Max looked at Ronon again. "Suppose we better talk to 'em," she said, not sure if they were upset or what.
Once they were dressed, Max walked out into the living room with Ronon and looked at the three of them. Callie stepped forward and folded her hands in front of her. "I knew you were going to become connected but I didn't think I should say anything. I was afraid you wouldn't allow it, dad," she quietly said.
Max was about to open her mouth when she felt tugging on her shirt. Looking down, she saw Finn staring up at her with a worried look on his face. Max got on her knees and looked at him. "What's wrong, hon?" she asked.
"Do you love my daddy?"
Max looked at Ronon and then at Finn. "Yes I do. Very much so. Is that okay with you?" she asked.
Finn nodded his head. "Callie and Lis said it's okay for daddy to love you and for you to love him," he said. He then reached up and lightly touched her bandage. "I'm glad you're okay 'cause I love you too, Max, and I never want you to go away."
Max tugged the little boy closer and hugged him tight. "I'm never leaving, Finn. Promise. And I love you too," she softly whispered.
