Ronon chuckled against Max's lips, amused by the grin on her face. He had to admit that he had never seen a grin quite like that before on anyone. At least not when it came to him. "You're not silly," he told her after breaking from their kiss. "And that was. Never experienced anything like that before."
When Max tried to pull away and he felt the tugging, he reached up, letting out a soft snort when he saw her bandage had gotten stuck to him. But at the same time, it reminded him of what had happened that day and how he could have lost her before any of this had happened between them. It made him want to hold onto her, but she was right - she needed a new one.
When she asked him if he could put the new bandage on, he nodded and took everything from her, feeling the pain she was in. Carefully, he applied it over her wound before raising his eyebrows at her question. "You really think I'm going to tell you I love you after sleeping with you and then kick you out?" He finished putting the tape on the bandage to hold it in place before moving his fingers to briefly rub her temples. "I want you to stay. I'll make sure you're all right. Promise, Max."
After she had taken the medication, Ronon pulled the covers up over them and held Max as she fell asleep. He spent the rest of the night watching over her, sleeping only briefly on and off. It was something he had gotten use to during the years he had been a runner.
When morning came, he was just about to get up to get Max something to eat when he heard the door to their quarters open, followed by Finn calling for him.
"Daddy! Daddy!" Suddenly, his son appeared in the doorway and stopped, staring at them. "Callie! You're right!"
