Ronon sensed how much his request confused Max, but still she took it and tossed it at him. Catching it against his chest, he smiled at her and laughed when she asked if she had done it right.
Walking over to her, he cupped his free hand to her cheek and leaned in to kiss her again. "There was no 'doing it right'," he told her before pulling back and holding the rock up in the palm of his hand. "Satedan women throw a rock at the man they want to be with. And then the man keeps the rock with him during the course of their relationship."
He closed his hand around the rock before taking Max's hand and leading her toward his family's quarters.
"Remind me never to piss you off, by the way," he told her.
When they reached his quarters, he opened the door and let her step in before following her and locking the door once it had shut behind him. He then scooped her up into his arms and kissed her deeply again while carrying her back to his bedroom.
