Ronon nodded at Chuck when he came over to tell him that Daniel had taken the kids home with him. "Tell him and Colonel Jackson that I said thank you," he said. He wouldn't have to worry about his children, knowing that they were in good hands.
He was also glad to hear that Caitlin would recover. She was a great person, and she meant a lot to a lot of people.
So knowing that things were okay, he focused on Max, watching her as she sat down once she had greeted Bailey. She offered him to make himself at home, but it felt a little weird, especially since he was still getting these...feelings from her.
"I don't know what's going on here. All the others...they're...involved with the people they're connected too. Why we can suddenly pick each other up..." He shook his head and crossed his arms. He wasn't good at stuff like this. What was he supposed to tell her? He didn't understand this sort of thing.
However, when it became obvious that she was crying, Ronon moved over to the couch and sat down next to her, wrapping his arm around her. "Well, considering what happened today...I don't blame you." He looked up ahead at nothing in particular for a moment, wishing he knew what else to say. "It's...it's going to be okay. I...whatever's happening, we'll figure it out. You should get some rest, though. I promise that I'll stay and watch over you."
