As Kade explained what was going on, Caitlin nodded. She felt a pull to all three men in the room, and it didn't bother her one bit. The four of them spoke about the connection until Doctor Lee came in with some food, and an update about Shaun. He was doing rather well, and she didn't think they would be any complications from him being born a few weeks early.
After eating, they went back to see their baby boy again. Caitlin wanted to touch and hold him, but Doctor Lee thought it was best if they waited a few days to make sure he was completely out of the woods. As they sat there, Caitlin noticed she wasn't producing any milk like she had with Charlie. Kade explained it had to do with her receiving his blood. It didn't bother her - it just meant all of them would be able to take turns feeding Shaun.
When Caitlin started to feel tired, they went back to the room to see two beds had been pushed together with Caitlin's bed. Also, Jack and CT had brought up some clothes for all of them so they could change. Rodney helped Caitlin get into her pajamas, and soon the four of them were snuggled in the beds. After talking for a bit longer about having Erin and Charlie come down in the morning, all of them fell asleep.
