While Ronon went to tuck Finn in, Max pulled her tablet out of her bag so she could check her e-mail. She smiled when she saw there was an e-mail from her mom, and she clicked on it. The e-mail was short, with pictures of her dad's birthday party attached. Even though she loved being on Atlantis, Max missed her family. It was hard to think they were going on with their lives without her there.
With a sad sigh, Max closed the e-mail and slipped the tablet back into her bag. When Ronon came back out, she smiled up at him, and nodded. "We can give it another go," she said as she stood from the couch and went over to him. She placed her hands where she was supposed to, and looked up at him.
"You're a good father, Ronon," Max told him with a small smile. "Being able to come here, and hang out with you and your kids as been a lot of fun. My family is all the way back on Earth, so it's nice to be able to be around people. Thank you for letting me teach your daughter, and allowing me to hang out here."
Pressing her lips together, she stared at him for a moment. She then leaned up in her tip-toes, and softly kissed his cheek. Pulling back, she ran her tongue over her lips, which were tingling, and cleared her throat. "Shall we?" she asked.
