Carson rubbed his temple when Jeannie said that Rodney was in the bathroom. Like his wife, he loved and adored their husband, but he was going to be very glad when Shaun was born and Rodney went back to being himself. He was insufferable at times, but at least they wouldn't have hormonal and moody on top of it. As it was at the moment, they just had to ride out the ups and downs.
"Is he going to be okay?" Jeannie whispered as Cait spoke to Rodney through the door.
Carson nodded. "Just need to let it past," he told her, reaching out to rub his sister-in-law's shoulder. She nodded before looking back at her husband as he stood just inside the doorway to their quarters and going over to stand with him, kissing Todd's forehead.
Cait finally managed to lure Rodney out with some chocolate, and Carson shook his head when he saw him smiling, going over to wrap his arm around him.
You know Cait doesn't hate you, and neither do I or Kade, right? he asked. We love you.
Rodney nodded. I know. I was...when Jeannie said I couldn't help and then I felt that I was being blocked...
I know, love. He kissed him gently before rubbing his back. "Why don't we let Jeannie and Tim have some alone time with Todd and go pick up our girls and Aden."
