Sam snorted softly at Fred's question. "Well, you'll be happy to know that Fred and John in my reality do have a very bright oldest daughter who is a lot like your Katie. Especially when it comes to private matters."
John shook his head, chuckling softly. "And here I thought there could never be anyone else like our Katie," he said.
Sam grinned before turning when Tim came in with the laptop. Once everything was set up, she took a deep breath, knowing this was it. Hopefully, this would work, and she would be home with her Daniel and her family soon.
Looking over at this reality's Daniel for a moment, she walked over to him, hugging him and kissing his cheek. "Daniel," she said softly. "Do me a favor and look the me in this reality up. I checked on her when I was looking for you, and she's working at Princeton."
She gave him a smile before pulling back and going over to stand by the Gate.
"Whenever you're ready," she said, taking a deep breath as Tim nodded and started up the program. Soon the Gate started turning, and a bright light filled the vestibule.
