Daniel jumped a little, and almost dropped his book, when the strange woman exclaimed his name. He started to wonder if he should call campus security. It wasn't a rarity to have nut jobs wander in off the street, and harass professors and students. Looking at her, he started to slid his hand into his pocket to get his cell, but stopped when she started to talk about his theories being right.
He narrowed his eyes at her, wondering who had put her up to this. It wasn't unlike some of his old colleagues to play jokes on him. And, as he looked the woman over, and suddenly knew who did it.
"McKay put you up to this, didn't he?" Daniel asked as he crossed his arms. "Egotistical little prick. He's still mad I beat him at chess last weekend, isn't he?" Shaking his head, he unlocked his office door before looking at the woman again.
"You tell Meredith he can take a flying leap," Daniel grumped before he walked past the woman, and into his office.
