Max stood back and watched as Alex tried to talk Rodney into putting makeup on him. She had been warned about the kids there, and how charming they were, and seeing a grown man looking scared because of a little girl amused her. Shaking her head, she moved forward to help Cait and Fred put a few things on the boat.
"Would one of you tell her to stop?" Rodney asked as he gave Alex a weary look.
"Come here, Alex. You're scaring the poor man," Fred said with a smirk.
Cait laughed and shook her head. "Oh, stop pouting, Rodney. I think you'd look rather good in pink lipstick," she said as Rodney sighed and went to stand next to Carson.
Max had just put another bag on the boat when she heard a bark. Turning around, her eyes widened when she saw Bailey running toward her. With a grin, she dropped to her knees as the dog ran over to her. "Hey girl. What're you doing here?" she asked as Bailey licked at her face. Max looked up, and noticed all of them were smiling at her. "Thanks, guys. This means a lot to me."
"Aww! I want a puppy," Erin said as she ran her hand over Bailey's fur.
"We can't because we have Einstein, sweetpea," Rodney pointed out.
Meanwhile, Daniel went over to his wife, and handed CJ over to her. "She wouldn't let me put socks on her," he said with a shrug. "She kept grinning and moving her feet. I'm beginning she got your mischievous streak."
