"A challenge," Ronon said, raising his eyebrows at Max when she said her father had never been able to get her to shoot straight. "I like that. It's been a while since I've had a good challenge. Actually...I take that back. Lis is presenting her own set of challenges at the moment."
He wondered for a moment if Max was going to try to brush off his offer and stay here out of some kind of pride. The last thing he wanted was for her to be found in the morning by someone else who might find her situation funny. Finally, however, she took his hand and got up from the floor.
"Come on," he said, walking of the gym. When they got to the transporter, he pressed the part of the map where the family quarters were before turning to look at Max.
"You know, you should really talk to Colonel Jackson about this. I know her, and I know she wouldn't like this sort of thing going on, no matter what else has gone on," he told her.
The transporter reached the family area, so he led her out and down the corridor to his quarters, where he opened the door.
"And you really should tell her what happened with the IOA and why."
