"Same here," Max commented when Ronon said he couldn't sleep.
She watched as he moved inside the room and sat down across from her. Max pushed herself up so she was in a sitting position before reaching down to unzip the side of the sleeping bag. Once it was open, she crossed her legs Indian-style and looked at him.
"Yeah. Chuck called, saying Woosley wanted to speak to me. I forgot to take the control crystal out of the panel before I left," she explained before giving him a slight shrug.
Max took a deep breath, and started to pick at the sleeping bag's zipper. "Everyone will be happy to know I'm no longer the IOA's liaison. Woosley fired me, and I can't leave Atlantis until I finish all my projects," she quietly said. She looked up at him and sighed.
"It's my own fault, though. I should have never came here. I should've known better. The moment the IOA told me I had to kick all the natives out of the city...including you, I told them no. This is your home, and I have no right to do it," she said. "Anyway, enough of my pity party. Why are you up so late? Or is this something you do every night?"
