John almost snorted at the reaction Maya's father had when he found out their people were outside, ready to come in after them, so he wasn't surprised when he rushed them out to meet them. He was sure that if this guy was anything like the owners of business on Earth, he didn't want to take a chance of losing his customers.
However, when they met up with Lorne and he told them how they knew they were in trouble, John felt his anger start to boil just like his wife's. He not only didn't like it when his daughter was upset, but he also didn't like it when his son was upset either.
So when Fred hit Torg, John didn't make any move to stop her. "You're damn lucky she aimed for your nose," he told him.
Torg grimaced before he was led away. Maya's father looked at all of them. "I really am sorry for the trouble we caused. My offer for vouchers still stands," he said.
"No vouchers are worth what my son's gone through," John told him as Ronon moved up behind him, the barrel of his gun resting on his shoulder. "We said we'll come back whenever Maya does get married, but we're doing it for her. Not you."
The man nodded as he looked over at Ronon. "I understand."
