When Sam said she would like some water, Daniel shifted a little to get up but stopped when he felt her pain. With wide eyes, he looked at his wife and slowly nodded his head when she said CJ was coming. "Okay," he said, taking a deep breath. "I'll get everything ready and call Carson so he knows we're coming."
Standing from the couch, Daniel hurried into their bedroom. He grabbed the bag they had packed and then opened the closet. Inside was a wheelchair he had taken from medical. Daniel didn't think it would be good for Sam to walk while she was in labor. He grabbed the wheelchair and pulled it out before unfolding it.
Once it was done, Daniel reached up and tapped his headset. "Carson! Sam's in labor! Be there soon!" he quickly said. He didn't wait for a response before cutting off the link.
Daniel picked up the bag and slung it over his shoulder before pushing the wheelchair out of the bedroom. He went straight for the door and hurried out and turned toward the transporter before realizing he had forgotten his wife. "Oh god, I'm so sorry," he said as he hurried back in.
He put the wheelchair's brake on and reached over to help Sam stand so she could sit in it.
