Carson smiled at the response he got from his spouses as he started making the hot chocolate. There was definitely something amazing about loving and being loved by two people so much. It made everything else that happened worth it.
Once he finished and joined Cait and Rodney again, sitting with them, sipping from his cup, he looked over at Rodney when he asked his question. Setting his hot chocolate down, he slid his arm behind Cait and over to rest on the back of their husband's neck.
"He's not going to turn me into a corpse. I trust Kade," he told him as he rubbed gently. "And since he's helping us, it's only right that we help him."
"Okay," Rodney finally said before slipping down a bit and wrapping his arm around Cait. Carson ran his fingers through his hair briefly before kissing the top of Cait's head.
"I should go get the girls," he said, not wanting to get up. "Do you want me to stop by Tim and Jeannie's and see if they'll watch them tonight after dinner?"
Rodney nodded.
"All right. I'll be back in a little while," he said before kissing them both deeply.
