Caitlin grinned when Carson gave her the chocolate bar. "Thank you, Carson!" she happily said before tearing the wrapper off it. She started to eat, snorting when Rodney asked about hot chocolate too. Looking at him, she raised her eyebrows before glancing toward the kitchen.
"We love you, too, Carson," both she and Rodney said before laughing.
Soon, Carson had came back out with the hot chocolate. Caitlin sipped her before sitting it on the coffee table. She didn't want to overdose on chocolate. Instead, she snuggled between her husbands and closed her eyes.
"Are you really going to let Kade drain you?" Rodney suddenly asked.
Opening her eyes, Caitlin looked at her husbands. "Kade isn't going to drain him, Rodney. The Sangui keep people to feed on and they often have relationships with them, too. Kade's wife began as the person he fed on and they eventually fell in love. Stop worrying so much," she muttered before closing her eyes again.
"I just don't want Carson to be turned into a corpse," Rodney said with a small shrug.
