After leaving Erin and Charlie with Jeannie and Tim, Caitlin walked out of the Gate room with her husbands. She shook her head at the pout on Rodney's face. She knew this was going to happen, especially since he'd been complaining about the fact Kade taught Sangui children. Caitlin knew Noll wouldn't have sent Kade over unless he was good and could help.
When they arrived at the atrium, Caitlin smiled at Kade and the young boy. "I'm Caitlin," she said before shaking Kade's hand. "And this is Carson and Rodney."
Kade shook Carson's hand but when he held out his hand to Rodney, he scoffed a little before finally shaking it. "So you teach kids?" Rodney asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Yes. I teach Sangui children how to control their urges when it comes to feeding. As you know, Sangui rule states we are not to take blood unless it's offered to us," Kade explained before the young boy stepped forward to stand next to him. "This is my son, Aden. Since I will be living in the city now, I wanted him to meet you, too."
"Hey, Aden," Caitlin said with a smile before she shook the boy's hand.
"Hello, Miss Caitlin," Aden said with a small bow and grin.
"Oh, he's adorable," Caitlin said as she looked at Kade.
"So what did you do before you became a teacher?" Rodney asked as he raised his eyebrows.
"I was a leader of a Sangui sect. After my wife was killed by the Wraith, I moved to Hestia with Aden. I decided I no longer wanted to be a leader since it would take me away from Aden too often," Kade said before he gave Rodney a small smirk. "Are my credentials good enough for you, Rodney?"
Caitlin snorted. I think I'm going to like having Kade around.
