After dinner, Carson helped Rodney and Caitlin bath the girls before they played with them for a little while. When it became obviously that both of them were ready to fall asleep, they took them in the second bedroom and put them down for the night. Erin was holding tightly to her seal as she drifted off to sleep.
They then turned in for the night, and when morning came, the city outside was covered in a blanket of snow. Rodney knew of a place nearby where they could walk to get snowsuits for the girls, so after bundling up, they headed out.
"How does it feel to be back?" Carson asked as they trudged their way through the snow.
"Strange," Rodney told him. "This hasn't been my home in years. But at the same time, it's nice to be back and see it again."
"It's a beautiful city. Even covered in a blanket of snow."
When they reached the shop, they found a couple of snowsuits for the girls as well as some boots. Once they paid for everything, they headed back to the hotel.
"Daddy! Papa!" Erin squealed when they came in. She pointed to the window. "All white!"
"We saw," Rodney said with a grin. He knelt down and pulled out the little green snowsuit they had bought for her. "See what we got you."
"Ohhhh," she said before turning to look at Cait. "Look, Mommy!"
