Carson raised his eyebrows when Cait said she'd trade for a cheeseburger and fries before she got up and went over to leaf through the phone book. He turned to Rodney, shaking his head.
I know, he said, scooting closer to his husband and running his hand along his leg. He grinned at him before looking over at Cait. She was right - Rodney had been complaining quite a bit as though he was the one who was pregnant.
"But they have been!" Rodney protested as Cait moved back to sit in between them. Carson moved over, running his hand up and down Cait's back as Charlie crawled in her lap.
"So are we still heading to Vancouver in the morning?" he asked, reaching down and picking up Erin when she came over to him, sitting her on his knee.
Rodney looked over at Cait and nodded. "We can. We could take the girls to the aquarium to see the whales there."
"Whales!" Erin said excitedly, clapping her hands.
"And Michaela won't be there to tell me that somehow they're not really whales."
