Once Rodney and Cait had left, Carson had changed Charlie and read a story to both girls. He found his eyes continually going to the window, hoping that his spouses were okay, especially Cait, given what had happened with her mother. Once he finished with the book, while the girls played on the floor, he walked over to the window and looked out, seeing how dreary it as outside.
Heading into the suite's kitchen, Carson heated some water and made some hot chocolate with the mix packets he found. He had just finished when he sensed that his husband and wife were returning, so when they came in, Cait looking happier than when they had left.
"A good wife?" he asked when she leaned over to kiss him. He chuckled and shook his head before sitting down with her and Rodney. Looking over at his husband while Cait gave the root beer she had got to Erin, he reached over and touched his cheek in thank you, glad hat Rodney was able to help her.
Soon, they were cuddled together, drinking their hot chocolate and watching their daughters.
"This is nice," Carson agreed. "I wouldn't trade this for the world."
