Before they got back to the hotel room, Caitlin stopped and got a small bottle of root beer for Erin. There was no way she was going to break her promise to her little girl just because her own mother was a bitch. And when they walked into the room and Caitlin saw Carson had made them drinks, she grinned.
"You're going to make someone a good wife someday, Carson," she said before going over to him. She reached up and cupped his face. "I'm fine now. Thank you for being here for me. I love you." Leaning up, she deeply kissed him for several moments before pulling back.
"Mommy?" Erin said as she toddled over to her and pointed at the bottle in her hand.
"Go get your cup and I'll give you some, angel," she said before she sat down between her husbands.
Looking over, Caitlin grinned when she saw Carson had made them hot chocolate. "I love hot chocolate," she said as Erin came back with her sippy cup. Caitlin put a little bit of root beer in it and handed it to her daughter.
Erin took a drink and nodded before drinking the rest of it. "More, please," she said as she held her cup out.
"Just a little bit more. We don't need you climbing the walls tonight from too much sugar," Caitlin said as she put a little bit more in the cup.
Once Erin was taken care of, Caitlin picked up a cup of hot chocolate and snuggled between her husbands. "This is nice," she quietly said.
