Rodney smiled as he looked into Cait's eyes when she sat up. Even when she was using her shirt's cuff to wipe her face, she was so beautiful, and he adored her with every fiber of his being. She and Carson meant everything to him, and he was thankful every day that they were in his life, he though as he kissed her.
"You're right. It is her loss because your spouses are wonderful," he told her with a grin. When she mentioned that he could talk to her father, he nodded. "I may do that."
Taking her hand after they kissed, he headed back up into the hotel with her. When they reached their suite, Rodney unlocked the door and held the door open for Cait. As they walked in, they found Carson setting a tray on the coffee table. He looked up at them, obviously worried but not wanting to push anything.
"I thought you two might want something to drink when you got back," he said. "So I made some hot chocolate."
