Caitlin knew her husbands probably weren't going to allow her to just leave. She was pretty sure Carson was going to stop her and try to get her to talk about things. She would then tell them what she already said, they would hug and move on. It was how it worked but this time she didn't want to talk about it because there was nothing to talk about.
She was standing in the main room of the suite, looking down at Erin and Charlie as they played. Caitlin started to turn toward the door when Rodney stopped her. She looked at him for a moment before slowly nodding. "Okay," she said before she glanced at the girls again.
Stepped out of the room, Caitlin automatically reached down and took Rodney's hand. They went to the elevator and went to the main floor of the hotel and out one of the side doors. There was a small playground there but it was empty since it was slowly becoming dark. Caitlin walked over to one of the benches and sat down.
She found herself snuggling against Rodney and closing her eyes. "Do we have to talk about it?" she asked. "My mom doesn't want me. What else is there to say?"
