"I did not!" Carson told his wife and husband, shaking his head. He then looked down at his daughter when she stood up for him. "Why, thank you, love. And yes, we're going to leave soon. Sam...our Sam...said that they'd be dialing Earth in less than an hour."
He kissed Erin's forehead before putting her down, watching as she jumped around in excitement. Rodney, meanwhile, had picked up Charlie, who was now bouncing in his arms while she watched her sister.
"Go bye! Go bye. Go bye. Go bye!"
"I think she's excited," Rodney said with a snort. "So how is Doctor Beckett?"
"He's good. Which means he'll be going home, so you won't have anything to be jealous of anymore," Carson told him as he headed into the master bedroom to change out of his Atlantis uniform in his civilian clothes for the trip.
"I'm not jealous!" Rodney called after him.
"Keep telling yourself that, love!"
Once Carson had changed, they gathered up all their luggage and headed up to the Gate room. A few minutes after they arrived, Al, Sammy Jo and Sam came in with their belongings.
"Ready to go home?" Rodney asked before Carson could nudge him with his arm.
"Very much," Sam said with a nod.
Several of the Atlantis people came to say goodbye to all of them, and once they had, Chuck dialed the Gate. Soon, they were walking through into the Gate Room in Stargate Command.
"Sam!" a voice cried out.
Sam looked down the ramp, a huge smile breaking across his face when he saw the woman with long brunette hair there. "Donna!" Running down, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply.
