The celebrations on Atlantis had been a nice break from everything that had been going on, but soon enough, they were back in the thick of things. The Wraith resuming their cullings had forced them to step up their timetable in getting the retro-virus out to the hive ships. At first, John wasn't sure that they could do it, especially given that with each ship they took down, they were making the next one that much harder.
So when Molly said she could help, it was a bit of a tug-of-war of feelings. Molly being able to pinpoint the Wraith would be a huge help, but at the same time, she was only ten years old. It didn't seem fair to put so much on her. But after talking it out with Sam and Daniel, who decided to let her, they were soon finding the wraith and taking out their ships.
It caused everything to go into a blur as it seemed all John was doing was leading ship raids and then falling into bed after feeding and playing with the kids. Like Fred, he missed spending quality time with his wife.
He was spending yet another day working on briefing from the latest hive takedown when Fred came into the his "office". She had been up to something, he had known that much, but he hadn't realized exactly what until she found and tugged him up from his chair, telling him they were going to the cove.
"That sounds like a great idea," he told her, willing letting her pull him out of the room.
When they got to the jumper, he looked at Fred with a grin. "You going to fly us out there?"
