Carson raise his eyebrows at Rodney when he mentioned John and Fred and Paul and Radek. The truth was that none of them were innocent when it came to public displays of affection, really. Rodney just had blinders on when it came to his own behavior.
"Of course it's different, Rodney," Carson said with a snort. "You were just hoping to defile the newest piece of equipment for they could."
"Carson!"
Shaking his head, he went over and sat Erin on the floor. When he heard Charlie start crying, he went in and got her, changing her nappy before bringing her out into the lounge with the others. As he sat down with her, he watched as Cait put Jeffery in the water, grinning - which got wider at Cait's offer to bathe them.
Oh...look at the expression of Rodney's face, love. I think he likes that idea, he told her.
Oh shut up, Rodney said. You like it too.
Carson chuckled. Didn't say I didn't.
Well...good. Just as long as we have that straight.
Shaking his head, he reached over and picked up a piece of fruit to eat, watching while Rodney set Erin in his lap and gave her one too. He then looked over at Cait. "Any more news on the Halloween fancy dress party we're going to have? We still have to pick costumes, don't we?"
