Daniel could feel his throat tightening when Mohinder told them what had happened to Molly's parents, and that she had been there at the time. He knew what it felt like to be in the same room as your parents died and he looked over at her, wanting nothing more than to reach out to her and tell her it was all right. He could also feel Sam's want to protect Molly, too, and when she placed her hand on his, Daniel turned his hand upside down and squeezed it.
Before Sam even had the words out, Daniel knew what she was going to suggest. He smiled and looked over at Mohinder and Molly. "It is a wonderful place. There's no way he would ever find it and it's filled with people who have their own special gifts," he said.
Mohinder pressed his lips together and looked down at Molly. Daniel looked at Sam, hoping Mohinder said yes. There was no way he could live with himself if he knew Molly was still stuck on Earth, fighting to stay alive. Finally, after a moment, Mohinder opened his mouth to speak.
"It's a very generous offer but the final decision is Molly's," he said.
Molly looked at Sam and then at Daniel. "You remind me of my parents. They always held hands, too. I-I think I want to go with the two of you," she finally said with a smile.
Daniel grinned and looked at Sam again. He then looked at Molly. "Do you have any luggage or anything?" he asked.
"It's back at out hotel. I can go get her things," Mohinder said as he stood. "Thank you for doing this for us." He then looked at Molly. "Do you want to stay here or come with me?"
