Daniel laughed and nodded. He knew they couldn't pass up the chance to mess with Jack since the other man was always messing with them. Plus, it was going to be amusing to see his reaction to the hat. "I think you're right and we should get it," he said before he helped her pick up a few gifts for their friends.
When they got back to their room, Daniel put the down the bag he was carrying and grinned at Sam. "I did," he said before he leaned over and softly kissed her. "You wait here and I'll get everything ready."
Going into the bathroom, Daniel started the water and looked around. He found a box of Greek Honey Mint petals and smiled before he put a few in the bathtub. He then lit some candles. Soon, the smell of honey and mint was filling the room and he smiled before stripping off his clothes.
"Come here," he said as he held his hand out of his wife. Daniel then helped her out of her clothes before leading her back into the bathroom. "Honey Mint petals," he said to her, knowing she could smell them. "According to Greek Mythology, the mint plant was originally a beautiful water nymph named Minthe, who attracted the attention of Hades, the stern ruler of the Greek Underworld. When Persephone found out, she beat Minthe into the ground, making the mint plant. It was later discovered if you had it to water, it makes a bath more refreshing and cool to your skin. Plus, the Greeks were the first to develop bath oils because they felt they helped athletes perform better."
With a small shrug, Daniel got into the bathtub, shuddering when the coolness of the mint touched his skin. It truly was an unique feeling. He then reached up and helped Sam in. "Feels good, doesn't it?" he whispered in her ear as he ran his hands over her arms.
